Hi all!!! Thanks to everyone who has participated! This has been fun. Only one more day and here we go!
Here's how our poem shapes up so far.
I remember the night that we first met,
the gaze in your eyes, I'll never forget.
Warm and bright, deep and wild,
The entire world spun within your smile.
The cool breeze blew making the night turn cold,
But the love I was feeling burned my soul.
Like a fire in the night
To keep me warm all the days of my life.
Here's stanza three. Remember 10,10,6,10
Seven years later we are still in love,
Shining bright as the light from up above.
I'm so glad I found you,

Okay working on that last line. And you figured out another rule, the rhyme has to fit the pattern. The rhyme pattern you've picked is AABB. That means line 1 and line 2 rhyme and then line 3 and 4 have to rhyme. So the word to match is "you"...
