Why Do People Fall In Love-R

Ready! says:adjective
1. completely prepared or in fit condition for immediate action or use: Check It Out!

Wow! So are we ever really ready? Sometimes I think we are. We're just in that spot or have done enough that we know we are ready to get married. How about you? If you're married did you know you were ready? Or if you're not married, do you think you'll know?

And I know we just gave a book away yesterday, but since we're talking marriage here today I think it's fair we do a GIVE-AWAY DAY! Leave a comment and your email address to be entered in the drawing for a review/gift copy of Her Best Catch. (US residence only) We are going to have one more International Give-Away Day---keep checking back!

I was never ready for marriage, but I'm glad I took the plunge.

Ciara--I know you are glad you did! I'm glad I did, too. Love my hubby. :)
I was ready, and I'm glad it happened right when it did.
By the time I proposed, I knew I was ready.

Long before I met my dear husband, I thought I was ready to get married. I'm just glad it never happened. When dear hubby came along, it was definitely right.

JC--I'm with you!

Alex--tell us about your proposal! I love those stories--I promise it won't end up in print. :)

Susanne--I had to do it twice to get it right, but I did the second time around. So happy now. And today is our anniversary!

Click Here At End It Movement to read what we can do to end slavery. There are more slaves in the world today than at any time in history. Trafficking, labor camps, it happens everywhere. Yes, even in your area!

Today is the day the world becomes aware of what is going on and commits to taking a stand to stop this injustice.

Put a red X on your hand, on your shirt, on your car---help spread the awareness and join the fight to free the 27 million people held in slavery today!

Rich in Hope--Coming November 2014

Book 2 of the Richness in Faith series is coming soon--and I'm VERY excited. Jenny and Stephen's story is one of hope-something we all  need at one time or another.
Blurb-- When beautiful underwear model, Jenny Harris, is scarred from a botched facial surgery she finds herself distraught and unsure. Her best friend, Katherine, offers her wildlife photographer brother’s waterfront home for a holiday sabbatical, since Stephen is on assignment in another part of the world. But Stephen returns home unexpectedly. It seems he was somewhere he wasn’t supposed to be, again, and his employer has grounded him. While Jenny doesn’t understand Stephen’s lack of compassion for her situation, he can’t understand her obsession about her looks. When Jenny, in an attempt to help Stephen out, announces to his boss that she's his fiance, a whirlwind fake courtship starts. But Jenny soon finds herself falling for the renegade photographer who’d rather spend his time in the wilds of the jungle th…

My Word of the Year

I'm a day late! Apologies. But not sure anyone is reading this blog anyway. :)

So my WOTY is:

Renew! defines it several ways:

1. To begin or take up again

2. To restore or replenish

3. To revive or reestablish

I'm viewing my WOTY as a spiritual renewal. Not that God has every left me. But I'm to be reminded that He never leaves us. His spirit within us is always renewing us to be the person He wants us to be.

We have continual renewal through Him. I tend to forget that. When I worry, I'm forgetting that He is faithful. When I choose a wrong path, I'm forgetting to look to Him for the way to go. When I say things I shouldn't I'm forgetting to wait for His words.

The list can go on and on.

Psalm 51:10New King James Version (NKJV)10 Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.

So, this is where I'll live in 2015.
What about you? Do you have a word?
