From Chocolate to Coffee

Well, we started the week chatting about chocolate, but there is another subject, that people are just as passionate about.

Coffee.

People who love their coffee, love their coffee! And sometimes, it's only a certain type of coffee.

Personally, I like strong coffee. Not sure why. But I do like it strong.

Lately, I've been sweetening just a little with Agave and Vanilla Soy Milk. Okay, don't go crazy on me. It truly gives my coffee a great taste.

We just recently bought a Keurig, and the Starbucks is pretty pricey, so I've been going with a less expensive coffee. But when I make a pot of coffee, because we did not ditch out coffee maker, it's Starbucks Cafe Verona every time. I love that stuff!!

What about you? Coffee lover? Picky coffee lover?

I live in Portugal where coffee is a way of life. There must be a hundred different names which mean half a cup, three quarters, full, very full, with milk and so on... The blend they use is, I think half Brazilian and half Kenyan and it's wonderful..and strong. Hmmm...and a chocolate with it goes beautifully (sometimes you get a free one!)

Susan,

The coffee sounds amazing. And I love the idea of coffee and chocolate. Especially if it's free.

There are so many ways to order coffee here in the States, it's crazy as well.

Coffee lover here. I'm not too particular about the brand as long as it has a good flavor and is strong. :)

I like the smell but never acquired a taste for it.

Linda--a fellow strong coffee lover. :) Hello!

Alex--I know quite a few people who love the smell of coffee but don't drink it. Do they make coffee-scented candles? Not sure.

Hi Lindi! I LOVE coffee. Funny thing is that I never drank coffee until after my son was born. Then for some reason I really started craving it.

I went from the Starbucks craze to my Kurig. Thankfully, the Kurig coffee is so much cheaper than Starbucks. My husband is happy about that, too.

I like the various Green Mountain brands. I've got several different flavors. But regardless of the flavor, I still have to add quite a bit of the flavored creamers in order to make it taste more like the lattes I get from Starbucks. I also started grabbing the Starbucks Veranda Blend Blonde. That brand is very smooth. :)

Tami--HI there. I've had the Green Mountain brands for the K. I've been drinking a Jamaica Bay one now. It's pretty good. I started using vanilla soy milk in my coffee. I love it!
