One of my favorite pastimes is reading. I love the way it lets me escape into another world, read about other characters and bask in somebody else's joy or whatever may be going on.
Right now I'm reading a book I am thrilled with.
The Soul of The Rose I'm talking about this book whenever I have the chance. Because that's what spreads the word of a great book. People talking about it.
I'll be posting more about why I love this book. The first thing I'll say is the writing is enduring and lyrical. The way Ruth Trippy puts words together is amazing. The Soul of the Rose is a historical novel, and Ruth has the perfect voice for this.
